Chrysler's SRT8 has really upset the Status Quo in the big car field. The SRT version of Chrysler’s performance sedan is hugely powerful with a 16 valve 6.1 litre hemi V8 that produces 317kW of power and 569Nm of torque.

SRT stands for ‘Street and Racing Technology’, and that means more than just raw power. It means features like deep leather sports seats with form-fitting lateral bolsters that are as comfortable as they are useful for high-G cornering.

It means a Brembo brake package, massive 20-inch wheels and a dual zone climate control with infrared temperature sensing. Changes to the suspension spring and damping rates are also part of the SRT package to improve steering response, while the ESP has been recalibrated to suit the car's superior power delivery.

The interior features power adjustable, heated sports seats, a leather steering wheel and gear shifter, and a 6-disc CD stereo hooked up to a 13-speaker audio system, which includes a 100-watt subwoofer and a 322-watt amplifier.
